Dave Murray—President

Dave is responsible for managing ClearImage’s strategic direction. As the firm’s president, Dave has worked with companies ranging from start-ups to global leaders, bringing to each an approach that recognizes marketing and public relations as a key driver for new business development.

Prior to forming ClearImage in early 2001, Dave held senior marketing communications and public relations positions at both public and privately held companies, including an RTP-based computer gaming/interactive entertainment company. He also spent several years on Capitol Hill working in communications positions for members of Congress from North Carolina and California. Dave is a founding partner at Southern Capitol Ventures, a Raleigh-based venture capital fund that provides early stage-support to emerging technology companies across the Southeast.

Katherine Webb—COO, Director of Client Services

Katherine helps set the agency’s strategic direction and is responsible for managing day-to-day operations. She has over 12 years experience in marketing communications, program management and public relations. Katherine has worked as a communications representative in interactive entertainment, biotechnology and mass media. As an advertising and multi-channel media specialist at Tribune Media, Katherine created and managed multimedia campaigns and promotions for clients in health care, interactive entertainment, retail, national automotive and the military. Katherine has developed sustainable branding campaigns and client acquisition and retention programs to increase awareness and ROI for B2B clients in a range of industries.

Amanda Brown—Director of Media Relations

Amanda is responsible for directing ClearImage’s media relations activities and implementing strategic communication outreach programs for clients. Adept at quantifying earned media values and analyzing ROI metrics, Amanda has significant experience in generating targeted exposure with media outlets on both regional and national scope. Experienced in disseminating and tracking client communications, Amanda has represented both small and large organizations across the Southeast. Amanda also works on a number of ongoing strategic initiatives with the firm.

Elizabeth Montenyohl—Public Relations and Marketing Specialist

Elizabeth brings a wealth of content development and media relations strengths to the ClearImage team. Working with clients in the technology and professional services segments, she creates corporate announcements and unique marketing materials, develops detailed client metrics reports on the firm’s activities, drives the development of compelling case studies and white papers, and performs in-depth social media research for the firm and its clients. A talented and enthusiastic team member, Elizabeth supports both firm and subsidiary initiatives, including special events and promotional activities.

Jean Wang—Marketing and Business Development Specialist

Jean helps with marketing and business development initiatives for ClearImage and its clients. She also leads the firm’s international markets development and expansion team. Jean has supported strategic global marketing communication programs for several game technology and middleware companies. A native Mandarin Chinese speaker with a master’s degree in communication and a bachelor’s degree in international economics, she has extensive knowledge and experience bridging business communication across cultures and continents. Prior to joining ClearImage, she was a professional consumer insight researcher facilitating the growth of Fortune 500s such as Intel, MasterCard and Nestlé in the Chinese market.

Allison Flentje—PR and Marketing Specialist

A self-starter, Allison brings an eye for detail and talent for multitasking to her role as Public Relations and Marketing Specialist. Enthusiastic and always up for a new challenge, she is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of GamesBizWire.com, which services news distribution for the interactive entertainment industry globally. In addition, Allison also manages multiple lead-generation activities for clients in the agency’s technology and professional services division. Prior to joining ClearImage, she worked in the arena management industry and was responsible for the coordination and execution of a variety of large scale events. Working closely with artist representatives, show promoters and NHL to ensure all event details were taken care of with precision. In addition, Allison provided support in the preparation and execution of media events, trade shows and coordinating media efforts for the venue.

Sarah Murray—Creative Services and Event Manager

Sarah helps direct the firm’s design and creative activities, conceptualizing and executing a variety of projects. She has more than 16 years experience in delivering unique marketing programs to showcase and promote products and services. Keen at analyzing and understanding clients goals, demonstrating strengths in two- and three-dimensional design, and management of large-scale events, Sarah delivers solutions that enhance corporate identity and overall business strategy. She has worked with a wide array of organizations, from fledgling start-ups to global industry leaders. Sarah is experienced in the trade show, architecture, graphic design and print industries in sales, creative and project management capacities.

Frances Fu—Business Development and Marketing Assistant

Frances supports a wide variety of ClearImage’s worldwide marketing and business development initiatives. She is responsible for planning and implementing marketing communications efforts and global lead generation activities. A native Mandarin Chinese speaker with a master’s degree in communication and a bachelor’s degree in international economics and trade, she has extensive knowledge and experience bridging business communication across cultures. Frances has international video games industry experience, with a specific focus in support for middleware and technology offerings.
